Summer weddings are so fun, but it can be difficult to find the right outfit to wear. With photo booths and selfies happening, you'll definitely want to look and feel your best! Some couples will give guidance on what they would like their guests to wear (i.e. black tie, casual, etc.), while others may leave it open to interpretation, based on the time of day and venue. Also, if you are bringing little ones, you may want to coordinate with them, or at the very least, wear something a little bit more comfortable if you think you'll be chasing a toddler around!
Whatever the situation, we can and love to help!
What to Wear: Summer Wedding Edition
Outdoor Wedding:
* Wear layers, so that you're comfortable no matter what the weather brings, and also flats, a wedge, or a chunky heal - avoid the stiletto, if you'll be walking in grass :-)
* Accessorize with sunglasses and a sun hat- look chic, while protecting your skin from the sun.
* Carry a bag with some snacks, if you're attending with little ones. Being outside can pose a variety of distractions, so some snacks or a small toy can help keep them in or close to their seat.
Black Tie or Evening Wedding:
* A basic black dress with some sparkly jewelry and a bold lipstick can look "black tie appropriate" without having to purchase a gown.
* Complete your look with a small clutch and a ballet flat or heel.
* For kids, focus on accessories to dress them up: a bow tie, clean shoes and cute hair clips can dress up any outfit
Casual Wedding:
* Look put together with a sun dress, fun jewelry, and a small handbag.
* Coordinate your look with your little ones, so you can get some cute photos!
* A matching skirt or pants and a top can be a great alternative to a dress, think monochromatic vibe, if you're going for a more comfortable, put together look. Dress it up with accessories and a cute shoe.
